OASIS-E Section C Cognitive Patterns – Signs and Symptoms of Delirium (CAM)

Section C contains guidance for nine OASIS-E items that assess cognitive function including the Brief Interview for Mental Status (BIMS) and Signs and Symptoms of Delirium from CAM©. Because these processes are new to home health and contain interview statements that muse be memorized or require preparation ahead of time to develop cue cards, etc., Beth divided the webinar to teach this information into three short recordings. This part-1 recording is about 17 minutes and introduces the concept of delirium and purpose of the Cognitive Assessment Method (CAM), including a deep dive into accurately conducting and documenting C1310, Signs and Symptoms of Delirium.
