In case you didn't see NAHC's or CMS' announcement yesterday, here is the link to the finalized version of CMS' Appendix B – Guidance for Surveyors: Home Health Agencies.
This is the document surveyors must follow when certifying or recertifying home health agencies for Medicare. It contains the Conditions of Participation and the "Interpretive Guidelines" showing how surveyors are to investigate compliance.
In all, it's a great guide for any home health agency's survey-readiness QAPI plan. Every agency providing services through the Medicare home health benefit program must follow its guidance to continue participating in (or billing) the program.
